Because we're not buying anything new to do it. We already run servers with room to spare, and small business sites are tiny — putting yours on that spare capacity costs us very little, so we don't charge you much. The honest trade-off is that on Small and Medium, space and bandwidth aren't guaranteed: they're shared. For almost every small business site that's completely fine. If yours starts needing more, we'll tell you and move you to Large, which is capacity set aside just for you — and there's room to go beyond that too.
Really. It's a monthly subscription with no minimum term, no setup fee and no cancellation fee. Cancel in one click from your billing page — the link is in your welcome email — or just tell us and we'll do it. We don't ask why, and there's no notice period.
Your site keeps running to the end of the month you've already paid for — cancelling on day two doesn't take it down on day two. After that it comes offline. We don't delete anything straight away, so if you change your mind or want a copy of your files, ask and they'll still be there. Your domain is yours throughout and you can point it anywhere you like.
Yes, in either direction, whenever you want. Tell us and we'll move you — Stripe works out the difference for the part-month automatically.
You do. If you leave, ask us for your files and we'll send them over — the same handover-not-hostage rule we apply to every project we build.
On our own servers in the EU, plus Cloudflare's global network in front of them. It's the same infrastructure we run our own business on, which is the main reason we're confident leaving it unattended.
